CouncilExecutive Committee | Council | Management Boards | Working Groups | Central Office | Registered OfficeCouncil usually meets once per year. FEMS Council consists of the Delegates of all Member Societies and the officers of the Executive Committee. Members of Council who are unable to attend may appoint a proxy/deputy. This should be done by using the relevant form (see below). All members of Council wishing to attend the meeting should complete a registration form (see below), and make their own travel and accommodation arrangements. As of 2006, FEMS Council Participation Grants are available to support the attendance of Delegates of of Full Member Societies that are unable to provide financial support themselves. Members Societies may bid to host the Council meeting in their own country. The Executive Committee will elect one venue from amongst those bids.
Forthcoming Meeting
The 39th Council meeting will be held in Toulouse, France on 14-15 September 2012.
Previous Meetings
The 38th Council meeting (C11-38) took place in Leuven, Belgium on September 17, 2011.
The 19th Delegates meeting (D11-19) took place the preceding Friday afternoon, September 16, 2010.
